Qualification before capability
bernato is currently a foreground CLI candidate under qualification. The website and signed-in qualification console report that state; they do not control a local machine.
Implemented commands
| Command | Current purpose |
|---|---|
bernato doctor | Report the release gates that remain blocked. |
bernato providers | Return the fixed disabled-provider catalog without probing PATH or the filesystem. |
bernato evidence verify | Verify a bounded local evidence bundle offline. |
bernato --version | Print the candidate version. |
doctor fails closed while required proof is missing. The provider catalog is
informational: it never discovers, qualifies, enables, or executes a provider.
Availability
There is no public binary or package, supported platform, qualified provider, score command, plan, checkout, credit, or paid-pilot offer. Native test evidence does not turn a platform into a supported release.
Boundary
Phase 1 has no daemon, listener, background service, browser control channel, machine pairing, terminal, provider execution, repository mutation, worktree orchestration, reverse tunnel, relay, LAN port, or generic proxy.
Evidence verification establishes local self-consistency unless the verifier is given an independently pinned key. It provides no trusted timestamp, remote attestation, or third-party provenance.
